Coaching with Impact- Sub Region A
Julia Steward is an experienced group facilitator who has been coaching school leaders since 2007. Prior to training as a coach, she undertook counselling training and more recently has benefited from training in coaching constellations, as well as having regular supervision by a psychotherapist. She has an eclectic approach to coaching and uses her knowledge and understanding to promote transformational change for clients.

By definition, coaching is a confidential process and there is generally little opportunity to practise skills and receive developmental feedback in a safe environment. When we ask for feedback from clients it is often hard for them to step out of the relationship and focus on the process, and they may not be aware of the impact that effective coaching can have. The day is planned to meet the needs of a diverse group, acknowledging that participants will have a wide range of coaching experience, from formally trained and frequent coaches to those who act from instinct or have not used formal coaching. There is an opportunity for everyone to learn: each coaching relationship is different, and everyone can move forward from where they are.
